September, October, November, December meetings

We need to plan a little in advance. Think about hosting a club meeting in September, October, November, or December. We can discuss it at the meeting this Saturday.

Eddie, if Seth wants October, I can handle the Christmas party in December, if you want! I love Christmas and I'll have all kinds of lights up. I can make a turkey. Just whatever you guys want to do.

Mel, I hate to be THAT guy, but I really don't mind hosting either month as well. If you would rather do the Halloween thing I am cool with that. If I did the Christmas party I would have to have it pretty early in the month as I host 2 Christmas parties for family and friends in December as well. But as I said, I am down for whatever. So in other words I don't have an answer...:sad:

Joel...yeah...it's true. I do live, eat, and breathe Halloween 365 days a year. But I'm also kind of a Christmas nut. So I'm good either way. Halloween might be fun though! :xd: hah hah.

Seriously you guys...I'll take which ever meeting you don't want. It's not a problem for me.

Janie, what weekend will we have your meeting? I could come to it if we had it the weekend of the 24th but if everyone else wants it to be the usual weekend then I don't want you all making special plans based on me. Seth, which weekend in September would be best for you? Just curious.

Janie is thinking on Sunday, I think (probably the 18th). When she posts a thread giving us more details, we will know for sure.

The Third Saturday in October is the 15th. The UT fans might want to go to the LSU game here. The fourth Saturday is the 22nd. That UT game is a "At Alabama" game. Depending on the time it might work out good to have the meeting on the fourth Satuday and make it before or after the game. We can wait a little to decide about October, however. We need to make sure we are good to ours football fans like Scott and Olivia. :wink:

What time is the October Alabama game? I have to ask off from work pretty far in advance, that's why I'm asking.

The UT-'Bama game is TBA. game times usually aren't announced until the week before. Game times follow the TV schedule.

Hmmm...Ok that is fairly vague. Dang. The problem is that my friend is having a Halloween party the night of the 22nd, which I might go to.

The meeting will definately be on a Sunday either the 18th or 25th. I'm planning on doing a Low Country Boil. Detail to follow when I'm sure.
