Selling at Trade Shows/"Frag Swaps"

I would like to start selling at frag swaps in my area in Michigan, USA. What are the requirements to do so? Such as EIN, sales tax license, special permits, etc? Or is that all not required? Thanks!

Not sure about Michigan sales tax laws. Usually if it is just a hobby then you don't have to collect. It you take credit cards then that makes it harder to say it is just a hobby. You will need to take credit cards though if you want to make sells or at least have other ways to collect such as Paypal, venmo, etc. No permits are required as far as I know.

Depending on the event, you may have to rent the booth which can be expensive. The last local swap I went to several vendors said they might not even make back what they paid for the booth.
