I know Selcon is extremely popular and has earned its reputation as an excellent product. I used it for a while then switched to a Brightwell combo that I found allowed me to dial in my ratio of vitamins to aminos, get a little more essential fats and aminos, and is cheaper. I put this out there for people wondering if there is a cheaper alternative to Selcon without giving up any nutritional benefits.
I had ChatGPT create this table where I QA'd the results. I don't think this is completely exhaustive as the % of each ingredient is not available but it does provide insight. Forgive the typos in the product names.
I buy the 125ml AminOmega for $3.96 from Amazon and 500ml Vitamarin-M for $25. I do 1:1 or 1:2 depending on what I think my first need. My Brightwell combo is about $0.08 per ml where Selcon is $0.21 per ml. I'm not trying to get people off Selcon, I just want people to know there is a good alternative that is almost 1/3 the price.
