Yes, from my understanding H. malu tends to be easier to keep, they do bury in the sand, stay a manageable size, do not split asexually, however, they are not much in the way of hosts. In fact, clarkii is the only natural symbiote that is found with them. Other clowns may adopt it in a tank, but you never know. You might have better luck with another sebae, assuming you can find one that doesn't have any tears to the foot. Finding an established one, with a tan/brownish color is a good start. Then, making sure the anemone is removed slowly and gently from the seller's tank to prevent any damage to the foot.
