U use muriatic acid, bleach or vinegar on the probes?

Just some vinegar and warm water. Scrape the crusty outisde and light brush to the actual probe point. Still a fail with the salinity probe though. Things so dang finicky.

Closest Ive been able to get it and thats where it'll stay. It calibrates easy enough. Reads almost perfect in the calibration solution but as soon as you move it back to the tank it'll read 50+.

It seems the slower you go putting the probe into water the closer it reads to accurate but out of about 60 tries we'll land here.

I tried 3 times one was way high the other 2 was 34 range. I was happy. Few months later it started reading weird and won’t calibrate. I miss it but haven’t replaced it because they are a pain

Anyone familiar with Angelfish maturation? @fabutahoun any insights?

Noticing more length on the tail streamers lately and wondering if this is indicative of a transition? I didnt think Angel’s transition in that manner but Im admittedly ignorant on the topic of Angels.

He/She is a beauty! Pretty sure its still a female but not sure if they transition. I’m guessing they probably do but need to do some googling and reading on Genicanthus.

Yep, he takes pretty much anything I toss at him. No training just have to make sure it settles to him and keep the savages away with a hand in their face should they go for his treats.

Fighting the clocks all morning. First lights on an hour early. Ugh. Reset times for an hour later then they dont turn on. Now they default to midnight upon reset and only one light.

Well it took 20 minutes, 19 longer than it should have but we have light. These Orphek’s frustrate me sometimes!

That's a rarity, havin a mandy eat anything. Takes all the stress out of keeping one.
