Scopas Tang HLLE

I bought a scopas tang that came with some hlle. He came with a couple big holes in the tonnage from it and lines. The holes have just about completely recovered. There still is some holes though on his face and above his eyes is a little dark. I have been feeding a lot of nori and all my frozen is soaked in garlic Zoe and selcon. I pre rinse my carbon and don’t keep it in there all the time. How long til this’ll fully heal? The last two pics are the day I got him.

Looks like it was pretty thin when you got it, and you’ve bulked it up since then….so that’s a good start.

What is the time frame here?

HLLE is slow to heal and in many cases the progression stops, but the original scars remain.

My sailfin came with HLLE. Year and half and at least five inches of growth later and she still has a little hole on one side that might never go away.

Yeah groot still has a bit of a nudge out but almost none. I just hope that the hole will go but I’m glad I fixed it before it got severe beyond repair!
