I don't swerve for squirrels.
Funny story, in the last house we lived in, we got squirrels in our attic. I tried moth balls, fox pee, all kinds of stuff. I ended up finding the hole and built something like this…

IMG_3440.png

I get home a couple of days later and I see 2 squirrels on the roof. They see me and I swear they stare straight at me as they use their little hands to lift up the one way door to go right back in.

They also chewed through the battery cables in my wife’s suv and tore up a bunch of other stuff in there.

mushies also doing great. i have them at an unflattering angle because i want to observe the rocks they’re on for baddies like aiptasia or vermetids. Have a little freebie goni on that rack too!! it’s mad because i gave it a peroxide treatment for a few strands of hair algae. i can’t wait to see what it looks like.

Best thing to scare away squirrels is a dead squirrel. Kill one and bleed it out around your yard. Squirrels will stay away till they can’t smell it anymore.

So yeah...this is a LOT of coral in this order. Timing worked out great though..knocked out the install by Wednesday and went on a hike yesterday once we packed up, headed home this morning and corals got here about 30 minutes later.

First pics and impressions. Well packed as usual. Despite there being a little water leakage thanks to UPS and their usual delicate handling. Fortunately everything seems in good shape. Managed to get everything to sit in the 60. Had to drain off a bit of water as it tried to spill over a bit.Got 2 freebies, that I can’t figure out yet.

Wow you got quite a bit too! Also, we don’t need to know about your water leakage.

Did a 10% water change on the FijiCube. Corals are like woo hoo! Mounted a couple more to make room on racks. Here’s the before pics. I’m about to add the new ones. I’ll post those of course as well.
