just to clarify, the reason I'm asking is because I found a flatworm that looked like this in the bag with my torch. It was definitely alive because when I poked it, it curled up and inflated a little bit. If this is similar to what you had, then it would be helpful to know someone whose already dealt with them.

This is actually pretty interesting read. @pandaparties this from vettguy may help.
No flatworm is a good flatworm and should be considered a need to remove ASAP.
Obviously, the three weapons against these are:
- wrasses or blue velvet nudibranch
-siphoning
- chemically assuring dead ones vacuumed daily .

Check for presence of eggs daily which are tiny
I've never heard of using a blue velvet nudibranch, but I did see them for sale recently, they are like 20$. Maybe give that a try.

I think the issue Panda said was that he used reef cement to keep them from being knocked over by rays, so difficult to remove for dipping.
Maybe skip feeding a day or two and your wrasses will get hungry and go after the flatworms.
You could cut the stalk off if it's below the flesh

Okay, here we go. I’m not an artist or worth a hoot at videos, but all the corals are here. Not my best pictures, but rushed to get it done. Some frags too far away to get a good shot.
Box arrived at 10:30. After acclimation and dipping, all frags in the tank by 12:15. Most frags had excellent polyp extension within 30-40 minutes. Thanks @SBB Corals for the great haul.

Box Arrives.

All frags went in the rack. They will stay there until tomorrow and then start getting their permanent locations. Got one little Zoa and it went immediately to its location.

I prefer bare bottom. I can see what I need to vacuum
I never vacuum the sand, conches, nassarius, or other sand moving things keep things stirred up enough. Plus I like having a mandarin, which sand helps promote micro fauna.

Bare bottom scares me since it limits some beneficial things.

I love everything I got. A little concerned on this guy though. Hopefully he starts opening up soon.
The torches I’ve gotten from SBB all started like that after I dipped them but within 2 days they all opened up. This is my 24k banana.
