Well, that's an end of an era. Just finished packing up and giving away my father in laws train set. He started building it 24 years ago, and just wanted it to go to a good home. Here's the full setup. He hand built everything from the trees to the buildings!

WE HAVE A WINNER

Considering @Mattiejay6 got it on his fourth guess, it will not count. The prize and points go to @billyocean but this caps him on prizes and points for the sale, with the exception of Flash Games.

Next game coming up in about 30 so check back in to play and win!

HO or S scale?
It was HO with nickle track. I don't know a lot of the specifics, so I had to call him again lol. I had always wanted to do one, and would have taken that one. But we just didn't have any room for it, unfortunately.

In 1979 he had an original lionel 27 engine. Sold it to a guy for $100. They had only made 10 of those engines, and he had had it for a while (he's 75) About 6 months later, he saw another one sale for $20,000. He almost died lol. He had some pretty neat stuff that the new hobbyist just got too. All free, just wanted it to go to a good home and someone that would enjoy it.

After my father in law passed we have a ton of g scale trains that we need to do something with
I used to have a whole load of N scale representing Chicago's suburbs from Aurora to Chicago. Metra and Union Pacific stuff. I... had a lot of time on my hands from 8 to 15...

That's honestly one other reason he was wanting to get rid of it. His wife passed 3 months ago, I think I had mentioned it here also. And he didn't want any of the kids or anyone having to deal with any of it if something did happen. I keep telling him he's crazy. At 75 he looks and acts like he's late 50's maybe 60s. Definitely doesn't look his age. I keep telling him he'll out live all of us anyway lol

@CodyBot
I updated the feeding portal to be smaller and have a feeding ring/frozen food attachment. The bottom piece with the holes in it is threaded so it can be removed for cleaning.
