Yeah there were some internal IRS documents leaked a couple years ago where they said to stop investigating rich people because they can afford good lawyers and cause a problem. Instead, target poor people because they can't afford to defend themselves. That's tight.

Thanks for explaining @BroccoliFarmer 's job! Haha, but for real, the expansion of the IRS is never a good thing since their goal is always to get more of your money.

Yup, i get taxed at like 33% on collectibles i sell on the side and my pups i sell get treated as ordinary income. But mega rich pay next to nothing on capital gains and can carryover real-estate losses practically indefinitely. Sweet system
