Make sure you check the outlet with a phone charger or something before you draw conclusions. If it’s a new light, should be easy to return and you should be fine for a couple days without light.

Will a nem like it? I don't know. I haven't glued the magnet in the base yet, still debating the design. Yes I know a nem goes where it wants but I've read about some successful stories using something like this.

Yes the idea is their foot is secure and hidden like in a rock, but they can reach out for light and food.

So far I’ve got 2 that have stayed where they landed and one that decided to move behind the top ledge of the rock.. I’ve heard that they might stay put if gently placed in there.

I'm afraid to turn my RBTAs loose, they are in a basket right now and don't really move around in it.

I've always been interested in trying one of these, just didn't want to waste money on one. Much cheaper and more fun, to design and print my own.

Honestly my lawnmower blenny may like it more.

I've been lucky with nems. Mine hardly move at all after I put them in the tank. The Chicago hasn't move from it spot

I’ve been basically lucky as well . With this bunch they’ve found spots and not moved very much since going in. I love where my Black Widow decided to hang out
