I told my dad I was thinking about building myself a custom cabinet for the new fish tank and he showed up with an entire trailer full of power tools.

i now have a planer, a joiner, a thickness sander, a band saw, a scroll saw, and a bunch more. I can't wait to start building!!!

Also went over to the old house this weekend and filled the tideline tank up with water and citric acid to run for a bit to clean it back up. Never got around to actually selling it so going ahead with getting it set up once the stand is done.

Once we got all the new furniture into the house, I had a brief moment of panic while I realized that it didn't match the house at all since it's a pretty yellow cream off-white and my walls are all bright white and gray. I tried to convince everyone that I now needed to re-paint the entire house (or paint the furniture) but I lost that battle and we are moving forward with everything staying the same color it is currently.

We went to @WWC in Orlando this weekend and picked up some awesome rock. It's tideline shapes and very light and looks great I think. Ivarr and I have been playing around with different scape options trying to decide what we like

Something I wanted to share with yall, the bad along with the good. This is my softy tank that will soon be broken down completely and going away. Because of that the maintenance on this tank has been almost non-existent since covid hit the house and I started working on the new tank. I have no idea what kind of algae this is, but apparently this tank decided to get on board with the lime green theme!

Picked this up today (well, ordered it at least)... I've been eyeing it for a while for the tideline tank and it went massively on sale so I grabbed it! Hoping it does well. It was one of the very few skimmers I could find that would fit in the back chamber of this tank.
