Look, at my sailfin tang, his sail is likecut up. Could it be aggression or could he have ran into the wavemaker. He is drowsy and slow as well. Just lays in the sandbed, noticed it today. Current livestock is

2 lemon damsel
Coral beuty
Striped blenny
Purple firefish
2 ocellaris clowns
1 chromis
Royal gramma

What should i do?

When was the Sailfin added, and how long in the tank. The Sailfin should be "the boss" in the tank....maybe with the exception of the damselfish.

The fish looks 'sick' - did you quarantine it? if so - it looks like small tang - and very well could be bullied
Im not sure if he is sick, added him 1-2 weeks ago and was doing perfectly fine eating and scraping for algae, but idk what haopened.

Laying on the sand is a good indicator its sick. My adult sailfin swims constantly around and is boss fish in the tank

Guys, turns out it was not sick, the coral beauty was being really aggressive to it, we are going to remove tang to see if we can fix it.

Can you post a video of the tang? While the fin rips are for sure from tankmate aggression, the tang may be weakened for some reason, allowing other fish to get the upper hand and attack it.
