I love the little guy besides the fish-eating part. Do you have a sump for your tank with some LR and macro you can put him in?

You could put him in your refugium, if you have one.

Even though they are called "dwarf" lions, they still can get several inches long.

Bummer.

But that is a nifty pic to have caught him in the act.

He's got a big mouth.

Gluttons. Mine ate a ~1.5" triangular rock one night when it fell from the cross beam over the tank... Must have broken it up or something because he was fine afterwards, bur he didn't look comfortable while it was poking out his sides... I loved having him, though.

Odd how the fish you got as a hitchhiker ate one you paid for and they have nearly the same value... If you like the firefish better, you could offer it as a trade to the LFS. Technically, you'd be giving them two for one.

Nice hitchhiker, I just can't see me spending more on it's meals than my own.

You may want to find a new place to keep the Lion Fish.
They can eat something that is up to 3/4 of there size.

My Fu-Man-Chu ate one of my Yellow Damsels.
I wish I seen that event.
