Wifi dongle is needed to connect to the app for A360 series, AP700 and AP9X have Wifi built in. You can control multiple A360 with one dongle by daisy chain connecting the each of the other A360 with a k-link cable (Type-C USB)

You can control up to 25 lights INDIVIDUALLY with one dongle if I recall correctly.
