Do you just dedicate an island/rock to them to keep them away from other coral?

They are not dangerous or “journeymen” like bubble tips. They have a sting, but much more mild, and they more or less stay put whenever you first put them in. A few may walk around and find a better spot, but RFAs are pretty good about finding a comfy home and staying there. They really like being at the base of rocks where the rock meets sand. But I have a bare bottom with 35-40 that are only on the rocks. They are pretty happy either way and will move if they aren’t.

They like to be in groups as well. I’ll try to get a picture later of some of mine being completely surrounded by Zoas, with no warfare between anyone.

Pretty great members of a reef tank for sure.
