My first Reeftank... probably a bit over a year ago lol 20g tall with a HOB filter... first frag was gsp lol. I learned everything from it about reefing, mostly hard lessons too.

My first reef tank was a 13.5 gallon fluval evo that my gf bought me last year. Ever since, I’ve been addicted to keeping corals and fish and have since upgraded to a 350 reefer lol! I learned to keep my lights off during the cycle because sheeeeesh the ugly stage was UUUUGLY. So excited for tomorrow!

This is my first reef tank. After ~20yrs in fresh. While some things are transferable, I'm trying to approach it as though I know nothing. I have learned this place is a wealth of knowledge to benefit from.

Good God almost 3 years and its cazy how much I have learned. 29g hob starter tank..
Of all the things I have learned is listen to the tank and don't chase numbers.
