So I had to turn off my RS Desktop Skimmer for about 3 days to treat a cyano outbreak. When I turned it back on it just started filling the display with microbubbles with no end in sight after having it on for almost a week. Will this skimmer break itself in again or should I ask RS for a replacement pump? Chamber two looks like a jacuzzi with the bubbles forming around the body of the skimmer at the water level.
Yes I have the bubble trap sponge in the return chamber, it doesn't help the microbubbles. Skim is optimal too, slow bubbling brown foam at the end of the skim neck.
Thanks!
