Everything else is very happy and the water is crystal clear. I just added 1 tbls of Rox 0.8 carbon 2 days ago. Since then the Forest Fire Digi frag that I have hasn't extended it's polyps. The Sunset Monti that is right next to it couldn't be happier? My LPS frags are happy too. Just the Digi that isn't putting out polyps, and it has been up until the Rox 0.8 carbon?
Parameters tested this morning:
NO3: 3.8ppm
PO4: 0.015ppm
Alkalinity: 9.0dKH
Calcium: 436ppm
pH: 8.4
Salinity: 1.025
Temp: 78

These are the same basic parameters that I've been keeping all along, only thing that changed was the carbon. I'm going to pull it now, since it's done it's job.

Definitely could have. Mine is pretty sensitive to any change and is usually a good indicator in the tank. I use it like a reverse stop light. Red means good, Green means bad. Come to think of it, i did also add ROX a few weeks ago and it was more retracted and green for a day or two. But i had just done a water change right before adding it... I might have to test that, now you have me curios.

Are you sure something didn't crawl over it? I cut my colony up into three chunks and scattered them and this is what one piece has looked like sense last night after a crab danced on him.

I run a lot of rox as I find myself in the tank alot more these days and never had a problem. Did your skimmer react differently when you added it?

Everything has been the same, even the skimmer output. I put in the Rod carbon 2 days ago, and right after that the digi got mad. I took it out this morning, so I’ll see if her perks up or not?

its possible that the carbon have clear your water a bit too much and your digi its gettin g way more light than it likes, that could be one reason.
have you check for any changes on your chemistry?

Probably a coincidence. I am more concerned about the phosphate.

Too strong, everytime while i change carbon of ROx 0.8, half of recommendation, most of my acros lost PE, so decided to cut off activated carbon and my tank glows better.
