So my RODI resin is getting to the end of its capacity for the first time (2-3 TDS in, 1 TDS out) and needs replacement and I have a couple of questions…

1. Can I use any of the aquarium resin products I see on Amazon? Is there any substantive difference? (System is the BRS 5 stage)

2. Does the resin reaching end of life also indicate a need to replace carbon filters? Or can these be expected to continue to last and only need replacement when the TDS coming out of them starts rising?

Generally speaking prefilters are changed @ 6 months.
Resins depend on color change or tds via an inline meter.
Membranes can last 3 or more years depending on variables in the water.
Personally I use Spectrapure products, but many use others.
I have no knowledge of Amazon products.
