Hey all I could really do with a hand.

I brought a second hand

TMC V2 PURE Reverse Osmosis System

This is what mine looks like

I have it connected to an outside tap and I’m getting about 60 bar with the flow restrictor closed.

Few questions

1) does it look like it’s set up correctly?
2) how many filtration is this? The stock photo says it’s 3 but I seem to have an extra part so is mine 4?

3) it’s showing 179 bits before cleaning and between 2/3 after is this good? Can this amount be used in my tank? This is showing on the ro machine lcd and not external testing

4) I know this is 2nd 2nd hand meaning for me it’s about 3rd hand, I don’t know how old it is or when any of the components were changed.

Should I change them and where can I get them from?

Thanks you everyone. image.jpg

Seems like media might need to be changed. You want 0 TDS from the finished product.

Do you have any idea which media it would be and what they would be called?

I don’t really know anything about this equipment learning as I go and the guy I brought it from doesn’t really know either, I know it’s been sat around for a long time.

Guessing it's the deionization media which is usually the final filter. I don't have that brand though.

Given it's a used system I would try and replace all of the filters as you don't know usage or storage previously.

Yes, probably change all of them. This is your filter,

They might have replacement filters, I didn't look. You would need a sediment filter, carbon filter, ro membrane and di filter or material to put in the di chamber.
