Middle chamber, ill be taking out all the rubble rock and most is not all of the live rock. It's just in there temporarily until I get a light to put over the fuge section and sand/mud to put in as substrate

glad you posted this because i was about to ask for some help on the stag... it looked like that since day one though :( im hopping its just from the way the guy fragged it, it looks sloppy and not well done. ive been watching it for the past few days, it still looks the same as when i added it to the tank it hasent STN any more than when i first realized it but ill keep an eye on it hopefully it will heal up. everything else is doing amazing im getting awesome PE & color out of all the other frags and my green slimmer even colored up from brown to vibrant green i just a few days. ill get some closer pics of the problem acro and maybe you guys can help me out

I'm hoping it was just a bad frag job or that piece fell or and was sitting in the sand for a while. As long as everything else is doing good just keep an eye on it. If it keeps going cut it - I know it is super sad to do to such a nice colony, but it'll be back in 3 months or less.

Another thing to watch for is the external bottle on your skimmer - you might want to move it or change it - that is asking for an overflow. I have 3.5" version of the same skimmer and it'll overflow on my once a month give or take. If you still want the remote chamber for skimmate, you should put a needle valve on the skimmer cup and keep it closed. When the skimmer cup is full, just open the valve and it'll all drain into the bottle. Overflowing skimmer could flood the carpet and drop your salinity when the ATO kicks on.

That's what I'm hoping, it really dosent look like its dying just that area looks kinda bleached I guess I can still see the polyps on the coral though so that's a good sign. Yea the plug is inside the drain tube pretty much 24/7 it's only out beause I drained the cup and dumped the bottle right before I took the pic, I've been doing quite a bit of research to make sure I'm doing everything correctly

Very nice!

Even if the acro goes south and you think it's dead, leave it in the tank for a few months. I just had a blue monster make a come back that I was sure was completely dead :)

Yes, a really good sign :) I want to get a green slimer, I heard they're pretty fast growers.

Your tank is coming along great!

ya they are pretty cool, picked up some refugium mud yesterday and put it in the fuge section. n ow i just need to get a light and the mangroves and my filtration will be done. then ill seed the tank with pods and let it be for a few weeks to let the population grow a bit. after that ill be placing my order for my wrasses from nicewasse

never knew it could be this hard to find a fuge light :( ive been looking for like 3 weeks and nothing ! bought pods to seed the tank and fuge area and threw some chaeto in the chamber so the pods could do their thing. after i get my fuge fully functioning i need a way to keep my params up. what do sps keepers prefer a calcium reactor or dosing ? which one would be more effective on my system ? this is my first time with sps so there will be alot of noob questions on this thread from time to time ha

How do you edit a post... Accidentally posted the same pic twice, this should've been the 3rd pic...
