I'm not sure what's going on with my RFA and it has me concerned. He was vibrant green with a bright orange foot when I brought it home about a month and a half ago. It grew extremely quickly and eventually decided to detach from the corner it was bunkered down in and I woke up to seeing it stuck in my wavemaker. After carefully removing it I looked it over for damage and didn't see any and counted myself lucky.

Fast forward to now, and he's nearly triple the size of when I got him and almost double the size of when I found him stuck and reseated him elsewhere. He's stayed there ever since, but I've noticed over the last couple of weeks he's lost essentially all of his color, and now he's got this really puffy look to him. He still responds to touch, closes up at night, opens when lights turn on, etc. Everything else about his actions and behaviors seems completely normal except his appearance.

Any advice on what could be going on or if there's something I need to remedy? He was my first anemone and I love him to death and would love to see him at full color and thriving if I can get him back to that. I've attached a pic and my apologies for the cloudy water, I'm at a tail end of a bacterial bloom from leaving filter floss in for far too long (my tank has been cycled for at least 8 months now).

The pic doesn't quite show what I'm seeing in him (other than his now drab color) which is basically that he has a sort of randomly bloated and deformed look to him.

While Anemones are fairly resilient in a mature tank they don't tolerate the swings common to newly established systems well.
They're usually among the first things new hobbyists look to add along with some clownfish but IME they struggle until a tank has been going for a year

What you described above is an anemone decline due to poor environment. All you can do is the try to change the environment to more optimal for him.

I just got a good look at his foot and it's still a pretty bright pinkish orange color which gives me a little hope. From what my LFS told me all my parameters look good but I'll up my water changes just in case.
