Got this thing as a wild aussie over a year ago. I fragged it a few time right off the boat for a couple r2r'ers then left it alone. It took a while to really acclimate fully and start to grow well but has finally taken off. I had to get this one shot for the site.
It's an insanely rich colored acro! The tips glow pink and the lime green polyps contrast the tips and white body with ease. I struggle with photographing blue in my acros but there is a sleek hint of blue under the pink tips as well. Been thriving and looking better than ever for a long time now. Everything you see is captive growth.
Just plain cool.
And while I was shooting I had to get this humilis too.
Loving this stubby wonder. Yellow with purple tips!
Shades of Jaundice
