I drilled my return line a little too high. I have a rimmed tank and the nut side of the bulkhead hits the trim so I can get it flush to the glass. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Maybe cut off a bit of the trimPhotos

Rubber washer and some silicone should do it.
All good ideas I'd say. You could also get a smaller OD washer close to the same thickness as the trim and use it as a spacer. Or put the gasket inside the tank and tighten against the trim on the outside.Trim the nut and tighten bulkhead from inside the tank
All my gaskets go inside the glass, or opposite the tightening nut anyway. All good ideas I'd say. You could also get a smaller OD washer close to the same thickness as the trim and use it as a spacer. Or put the gasket inside the tank and tighten against the trim on the outside.
