I am planning on drilling my 75 g tank for a Modular Marine overflow 1600 gph that has 3 x 1in drains. For my return i was thinking of using a 1in return from my sump, which will be located under tank. What is the best style of bulkhead to use for the return, thread x thread, slip x thread?

Yes post pump union w valve above ,so can shut to remove pump
Gotcha. Prevent backflow for servicing the pump. Would you generally recommend this below the return or from the pump? I really appreciate all this information
