Hi everyone,

I am rescuing two poor clownfish from a not-so-responsible LFS. Both appeared to have part of their tails bitten off (or is it a disease?) and were neglected in a corner.

They are now in my bare, 5G, all-in-one tank. Tried my best to keep PH, KH, NO3, NO4, salinity in check. This being my first saltwater tank I can certainly use all the help I can get.

Kudos to you.
Fish look a little thin, Feed them but do so sparingly. Its best to spoon feed them from a small cup in tiny portions-up to 4 feedings per day.
Monitor water quality focusing on ammonia-nitrate and Ph
Some foods will be:
LRS Fish frenzy
small plankton
mysis shrimp
spirulina brine shrimp
Formula 1 flake and frozen
tetramin flakes

Add selcon vitamin to the foods occasionally

Welcome to R2R and the salty world. Well done for taking on the clowns. Many people wouldn’t take them if they are not perfect looking. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
