I noticed today these orange babies with distinct black eyes and tail only 1.5 month old 29G reef tank. My tanks has a pair of clownfish, 4 snails, 4 crabs and 11 LPS corals frags. Requesting to check the attached image and tell if these are babies of any? If so, what should I do?

Hmmm. Now you got me. They look like fry. Are the moving around? Maybe shrimp?
Yeah I’m thinking some type of shrimp. No shrimp in you tank? Maybe eggs came with a coral. Post it in a forum that addresses that. From what I read, even if shrimp spawn, the babies never make it. Would be cool though if some did.

Oh thank you, I saw one moving around but others are just stuck to the thermometer. No shrimp in the tank but as you said coming from corals can be a possibility since I just added 6 new corals to the tank.

The first picture made me think diatoms...but the close up picture...I was like, “Are those EYES?”.

It looks very similar to the mysis shrimp that I feed. TBH those eyes always creep me out.
