Hi there new to the hobby looking for some help. Recently bought a Red Sea G2 max Nano XL at the AQUAH show in the UK. So far I’m absolutely loving it photos attached however I do find my return pump is quite loud.

I have a TMC ReefCompact 1500 which I was using as my water changes/ spare pump would that be a suitable replacement and I have seen a fair few people say the stock pump is too powerful should I turn it down to a lower power setting?

Cheers!

I use it at 100%, but only because I have a chiller plumbed in and needed more power than the stock pump would supply. Imo, just use best judgement for flow, start at 50% and move up or down depending.
