Yea i cannot slap the bass well. It kinda gets on back burner cuz I know guitar better but bass lines can be so smooth and awesome.

Did someone say musician?

I was classically trained on the piano for over 10 years and spent 7 years on alto and tenor saxophones. For fun, I played the guitar, electric bass and drums.

We're not sure if it makes sense to move my baby grand piano from my folks place into our home when we're likely going to move sometime within the next 5-10 years. @Crabs McJones inspired me in his Good Morning thread to go and pick up my 26 year old Fender bass and amp from my folk's place. Here's the guitar and ukulele that I play today. And my 20 year old keyboard that we have set up for our 3 year old daughter to rock out.

I can kind of play all the regular rock band instruments, but I’m actually a full time FOH mix engineer, it’s kind of like being an unseen extra member of the band. I get to take all the cool pieces and fit them together into something musical that sounds good!

Ibanez gsr205 and a small acoustic 30 watt practice amp
I started learning bass about a year ago on and off. I've always loved the sound of the bass in music.
I have an SR305 coming tomorrow!!

I personally don't have any musical talent but I seem to buy new instruments for my youngest weekly lol. Currently she plays the flute, piccolo, piano, and is just now learning the guitar.

I have been playing the guitar since I was 9, but I have never been really good at it. I used to play piano when I was really little, but I don’t anymore. If I were to learn another instrument, I would want to learn how to play blast beats on drums, or fretless bass.

My neighbors get dosed with dream theater or perhaps seether or perhaps megadeth. We're in Austin pretty much so that sort of sonic assist isn't unheard of. Expecting to be stuck in traffic and expecting to hear random live music even if a tad early in the am is very Austin

Digital drums are sick because you overlay your drum track on the incoming mp3 through the drum brain then blast it, and be in the concert live time. An acoustic set cannot blend as easily
