Many of us have other hobbies outside of reefing.
Before I set up the 75 one of mine included the bass guitar. I'm curious to know how many other reefing musicians we have here. Please post your instrument along with tons of pictures!
As mentioned I got out of bass to fund the 75. But now that the tank is gone I want to get back into playing.

Here were my instruments:
This was my very first bass. It's a 5 string rogue bass which I'm pretty sure is just a Chinese brand. But it played well and took alot of abuse.

The second was my ibanez 4 string. Just a basic sound gear that worked well. My daughter picked out the strings for me :p

And lastly my prized possession.
My Ibanez K5 signature bass. I LOVED this thing and it was really hard to let it go. I debated for weeks about it. I am going to buy another one, just need to save up the pennies to do so. This thing was amazing. Deep growl with crisp treble. You could plug it into any amp, and it would sound amazing.

I played this all on a 2x10 bass cabinet by Fender. Sounded good, bought it used and it served its purpose.

So! Getting back into playing, I had this come in today! 20200519_173540.jpg
It's a peavey 2x10 300 watt amp with built in tuner. I plugged my phone into it just to test it out and it is LOUD!
I have a new bass arriving later this week. I'll post it then.

So theres mine, let's see yours!

This old battleaxe right here?
Was originally neglected back in the day because I had no time. Then gifted to my dad and inspiration as a gift for xmas one year.
Which ended up in my grandmother's China closet room for eternity.
Until recently recieving her back.
I know its been time to reconnect and she's been speaking to me! 20200519_183425.jpg

bari was my favorite one to play, started on alto, moved to bari for marching and never looked back.
Love bari! Play it for region band auditions (for my non-Texas folks that’s like a big deal. They take the best couple of kids from the Greater Houston area and shove them together to form a super-band with all the best people. Making it in gets you like scholarships and stuff.

That banjo is legendary, I still play closing time every night before bed. I saw the broadway style production in New York last February and it was fantastic
