Some of you may be interested in this next post, especially if you have a JEBAO DP-4 DOSER.
I am going to end up using this jebao doser until I get a new one , that I got from the biocube tear down, here and although it's a very dependable doser I think we can all agree it could look better. The screen is also on the top so if you're trying to hide this in a Sump area that is meant to be shown ,like mine is, it can be a pain to adjust if you can't see the top of the doser. So I was on break today thinkin about how I could modify the jebao dp4 to make it more appealing and I said hey, I'll take it apart and paint the shell blue! Well, one idea to the next and I decided to try and separate the screen from the pump heads all together. This ended up being fairly easy. Maybe because I really had nothing to lose, this doser already paid for itself and if I broke it in the process it would be no problem.
I got it apart by removing the 8 tabs on each side and prying it open. Inside it's two circuit boards and some wires lol. There's one ribbon wire that runs from the LCD screen to the panel the pump heads are on and it's about 6 inches so I knew I would have to mount it close. I ended up chopping the back half of the doser shell off bc it's really just empty in there and it freed up some more wire to use.
I'll post some pics now, keep in mind this isn't something I want to be permanent so that's why I'm leaving the screen hanging down. However, if someone wanted to do something like this and make it aesthetically pleasing and functional it's very possible and doesn't take long at all.

can't see the doser hanging down at all.

I really like the idea of chopping the doser in half. I need to cut mine in half. Now, I just need to find a plastic casing or something to hold the LCD display.

Also, if you didn't already open it up. The top panel of the LCD screen/buttons actually needs to be cut out of the plastic. It looks like it's all one piece but it's not. You'll need to cut it out with a razor knife or something. Make sure when you cut it out that you leave the necessary screw posts intact, so that you can screw the actual screen back to it.

Thank you @ReeferMadness80G I am trying to see if my wife will let me use one of her jewelry boxes. I have found a black one that I really like. Hope she won't be too mad. :p

Provided she doesn't kill me for stealing her jewelery box.

Oh no! Buy her a new jewelry box, with a new piece of jewelry in it! I actually just had to buy mine the Apple Watch bc I got the new eshopps skimmer lol. Two of the most expensive hobbies, our wives and our tanks!
