When you drain the overflow box, take a light and look in the bottom. The teeth on mine were stripped away.I had this happen on a 250. New pipe and gaskets did the trick.

I had this exact thing happen to my Reefer 250. I drained the overflow box, didn’t run a sump until the new pipe got here. Pretty easy. And yes, operator error here.
