I'm in battle creek for a wedding this weekend and I think I will have a few extra hours to kill between now and my flight out.

Michigan reefers, what store should I hit up while I am here? Any really fantastic reef shops?

Alright-- here to follow up: I ended up going to a really impressive store called the @DetroitReefClub that is half owned by the guy who runs bashsea and a coral importer named Zack (I believe- sorry if I'm mis remembering). I lucked out and I was the only one there for quite a while. Zack gave me a tour of the bashsea product development space, and of course of his beautiful coral shop. He has a real passion for the industry and it is reflected in the care that he puts into the corals in the store.

The store is about half an hour from the Detroit Airport. If not for the fact that I'm expecting a big coral shipment already on Wednesday (shout out @AquaSD) I would have done some serious shopping.

If anyone lives in the area, this store is a must-see.

Detroit reef club (store, not name of club) has a super cool virtual tour that's worth a look: https://matterport.com/discover/space/1etmSLBpg5L

They also sell coral online: https://detroitreefclub.com/

Thanks for being so welcoming at your shop DRC! It was a fantastic way to kill time before my flight.
