Hey and hello

I recently set up my reef oct to the 0-10v interface. I also set up the stream group and min max. My question is how do I adjust the power output of the skimmer on the interface? I am running my skimmer at the eco mode level prior to adding the 0-10v and would like to adjust it accordingly through the app. The idea being able to adjust it to the next speed if needed. Not sure if by changing the output in the interface, it reflects on the RO controller. Or do I have to run it at max speed and adjust it from there from the 0-10v? Thank you in advance

This is for my Varios 8 return pump. I slow the return during my feedings. Once you plug in the 0-10v cable it overrides the controller from what I have experienced.

If you have a float switch that will still shut off the pump.

Yes that’s what I figured. So my skimmer, I run at 1 on the RO controller. Anything after that, the skimmer goes crazy. I wanted to know who to control that through the 0-10 interface. I can assume that the RO controller 1-5 in increments of 20% power How does that translate in the Ghl interface ? And does it reflect on the RO controller from the Ghl interface ?

I just checked my system. Changing RO contoller doesn't effect pump and changing GHL doesn't effect controller.

I think you need to play around with the percentages to get it set where you like. Hard to say if GHL 20% is click one of the RO controller. I think it is close because I was running on click 2 and my GHL is at 38%.

The UMin and UMax are important. The way you have it 100% on the controller will result in a 6v output.

That same 6v (when input to the RO controller) will mean "run the pump at 60%"

My suggestion would be make the UMax = 10.

Then anything you set on GHL is reflected at the controller correctly.
