Just joined, live in Venice area. Just started reefing. Have a biocube 16 LED. So far it’s going good. Birds nest, 3 Zoa frags, hammer, Cyphastrea, green star polyp, gonipora, 2 clowns and a heavy clean up crew. Interested to see how it looks in 6-12 months.

That’s great! Another southwest Fl. R2R member! And welcome to R2R. There is another forum if you want to introduce yourself to everyone. Also have any pictures of your biocube? We love seeing pictures!

Hoping to move to Venice area in near future and was curious if there were any R2R members there and if there is a local marine aquarium society.

Trying not to do impulse purchases, tough though! Planning a 100ish gallon, hopefully not to fat into the future.

So far I’ve lost a Duncan and two small hammers, my fault, I was out of town and didn’t teach my kiddo how to maintain it for me.

Upgraded the Biocube hood to a AI Prime! Ditched the hood but gonna try to find an artistic way of hooding the light so the bleed over into the living room is not so bad.

Thanks Chet (Eco Reef)for your patients on my purchase of this light!

I’m running an acclimation mode of David Saxby’s schedule, we’ll see how it goes!

I think that is a great idea Hyde2406! A few posts back someone in the Manasota area suggested we "locals" exchange emails. I'm [email protected]. If anyone is interested to join in please post your email and we can get a local email list going for help, trading, ideas, etc..
