Hey everyone!

Hoping to share the build of my newly upgraded tank! I’m transitioning from my original fluval evo 13.5 that is a fully mixed reef into my new Reef casa vila 24.

Tank: Reef Casa Vila 24
Lights: 2 Ai prime 16HD
Wavemaker: 1 nero 3 (may add a second if needed)
Skimmer: Bubble magus mini q
Fuge: amazon grow light in an in tank basket

Currently dose all-for-reef into my evo (2.8ml / day) with the Kamoer X1 Pro v2 and will move that + my Tunze ato over once I move my corals!

I have filled the vila so far with fresh fiji pink sand + caribsea life rock and im just letting the cloudiness dissipate first! I have two packs of marine pure gems that have been in my evo for the past year and two live rocks that have been in it for the past 3 years all stuffed in the sump of the the new tank beginning the “instant cycle” — will be moving my clowns over first then moving the corals and the remaining live stock over within the next week!

Attached are pictures of both tanks! ( Yes the new tank only has one prime on it currently, the second is on the evo and will be moved when the corals are moved over!)

Planning on of course adding some more fish as i’m transitioning over from my 13.5 to my 24 gallon curious on everyone’s opinions for stocking?

I have my 2 clowns that I have just moved over.

Currently considering adding a midas blenny, royal gramma (maybe), firefish (maybe) and some sort of bottom dweller. Or was considering some sort of hawk fish like a flame or longnose potentially instead.

Open to all opinions!

Really? I did research on them for days and only saw great reviews.
You have to be careful as these tanks are sold by Fragbox, who also owns Reef Casa, and they have a history of "guerilla advertising". They've given away dozens of them to try to spread some influence on insta and in the forums, and they pad their reviews.

Just be careful when dealing with that company, they don't have a great rep with established hobbyists. They seem to prey on the new, unlike Aquarium Depot / Candy / New Dawn / Reef supplies which all have good reps.

Yeah I agree with the advertising, that’s for sure.

I’ve never actually bought live stock from them, I stick with my local shops Frag Garage and Shoreline corals to avoid shipping and what not. Always wanted to try ordering from Candy / New Dawn especially since my local shops don’t carry anything for fish really. I appreciate the heads up though! I’ll keep an eye on the tank. So far it’s been up a week and no issue. I can appreciate their 3 year warranty on the tank.

So, I’ve finalized on my two clowns, an exquisite firefish, royal gramma and a tail spot blenny. Going to be ordering them soon, and allowing them to quarantine in my evo while it’s still up and running!

I have two reef casa nano tanks running and have been very happy with them. Both tanks are well established and no sign of any leaks. Just my two cents!

Good to hear. One of mine is also the Villa 24. I just ordered 2 more from Reef Casa. One will be a frag tank and the other will be a dedicated Zoa garden. Both tanks are 20 x 20 x 12.

This weekend I made some massive improvements on the tank.

Upgraded the stock pump to the Ai Axis 40 - LOVE IT so far
Seeded the tank with pods and started dosing live phyto alongside it.
I also moved all the corals over from the evo! I will update with some pictures tomorrow as when everything is opened up.

However, still in the process of testing every second day and figuring out my new all-for-reef dosage.
