Grabbed a juvenile and sub adult emperor Angel from reef beauties. First of all the communication and helpfulness were second to none. Now with that out of the way….the fish arrived in beautiful condition and were eating immediately! The sub-adult was even harassing the juvenile in the acclimation bucket. Introduced the juvenile which was about the size of a quarter. It dipped into a little cave I have and it started picking at my rocks right away. I let him get acclimated to the tank for about 3 days before introducing the sub-adult. Sub-adult was in an acclimation box and eating both mysis and pellets within 3 hours of being received. That includes acclimation and a stint in safety stop. Fast forward and both are doing great ! Even the juvenile is eating pellets and nori instead of only picking rocks. Reef Beauties really delivered at great pricing. Couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait for the 2 emperors to mature and become a pair. A ++++
