Im tired of the filter socks. And wanting to buy some short filter cups that fit in the filter sock holders. I have 6 in cups but want smaller ones so i dont have to use a ton of floss to cover all drainage holes.

Any one have leads on some like 1-3in deep filter floss trays or cups?

Off topic- Honestly, if you have the money- id go Roller Mat. I got a Clarisea about a year ago and will NEVER go back. Makes life literally 200x easier.

I wouldnt say its off topic as its an alternative. Im not sure i want to go roller matt route yet as i dont wana have to retro fit my sump for it.

You might have to do some digging, but there is a guy on here making them to your exact specs. I read the post's a couple weeks ago and everyone had good reviews with what they got from him.

Contact @Projects with Sam. He can 3D print these for you! Love mine - replace a small piece of filter floss every week. Less than 15 seconds to swap out.

I wanna ditch these socks but was worried about not having enough room as well. This will fit in a 450 sump?

These fit perfectly in my RSR 425XL
