I have a 75 gallon reef tank I’ve had to go for four months now. I started developing red slime algae on the sand, and it goes away at night and gets brighter during the day I vacuum as much as I could from the gravel and I am dosing my tank with micro bacteria7 for a week And now the algae is starting to grow on my rock does anybody have any suggestions and how to get rid of the red slime algae and exactly what algae is this?

It sounds like cyano bacteria, but it’s impossible to be sure without at the very least having a photo to look at.

You’ll also want to list your tank parameters, volume, age, stock, etc, etc.
