Struggling with the cycle but I think I might be finally getting it to work. Has me thinking about the Sicce SDC return pump. It has five modes so I am thinking about using a mode to create variable flow in the DT. Lagoon Ripple is what I am thinking. Has anyone tried this?

Almost two months and we now have four fish. The LFS thinks I’m moving too slow. Got a pair of XR30 G4 lights at half price so I figured they should last me a while. Two hours of work and I still can’t get the darn things to connect. Very frustrating.
Vacation coming up, assuming everything survives it will be time for some Gobys and Tangs. A home for the two clowns and some corals.
Water update: no sign of Ammonia and very little phosphate. Probably not feeding too much but can’t bring myself to try and ramp it yet. Plenty of time for algae issues.
