Red Sea Reefmat 500 waste roll keeps rolling right and rubbing against side

Anyone have any experience with the ReefMat slowly rolling to the side and rubbing against the body of the unit?

It's making it hard on the gears as the waste roll begins to bunch up to the side.

I tried cutting the fleece roll and redoing it, but it keeps happening... Once already it tore the fleece due to the friction of it rubbing against the side as it rolls...

It sounds like it is Defective, contact their support: https://g1.redseafish.com/support/tech-support-inquiry-2021/, explain and tell them you want a replacement, they will give you a hard time, but be persistent.

I should have added this only started to happen a few weeks ago, and I've used it months before without issue. Something has changed but I'm not sure what...
