Something weird happened with my doser, and now my calcium is very high. A few nights ago, I refilled my "A" container because it was halfway empty. I have already turned off the warnings where it tells me how much product I have left, because it was giving me false readings (saying it was empty when it wasn't, etc.). I have a container with 3 1,500 ml compartments. Filled part A (calcium) to the top. The next morning, I was shocked to see 1/3 of that container was gone. My Part A is only supposed to dose 75 ml/day, spread over 4 doses. Is this a problem with the "missed dose" setting? Did my doser think it had missed doses somehow? I'm not sure how that could be, because I turned off the auto-level function because of previous false readings. If anyone has experience with this, would love some insight. I turned off the missed dose setting hoping that helps prevent future mishaps. Calcium isn't good, but my tank could have crashed if this had happened with Part B (alkalinity). Ugh. I love automation for the most part, except with things like this. P.S. I checked the dosing log, and it shows 75 ml calcium for the last 2 weeks. ‍

I had a different problem with the level monitoring - turns out it literally stop dosing when it determines that it’s empty, and failed to alert me that I should reset the counter.

Long story short, I noticed that the doser isn’t working the day after refilling the container and seeing the the level stayed the same, after awhile I realized what had happened and turned this feature off.

I’m not sure what would have happened if I marked the container as “full” instead of turning level monitoring off, but if I had to guess - the missing dose compensation would likely kick in and will start dosing the total amount it have missed, combining multiple day worth of supplements and yeah.. it end up doing exactly what you described above.

Strange, I have had 0 issues with my reef dose for 3 years now but the app has a bug in it with android devices confirmed via email from red sea that I received. It won't update number of doses. Stays fixed on the last setting.
