Job description
Red Sea is seeking an experienced professional aquarist with minimum 5 years reefing experience to join its growing Technical Support team. Based in our Houston office, this exciting role provides a great opportunity to work alongside Red Sea’s support and development teams; influencing product development & improvements and ensuring Red Sea customers receive the very highest level of support.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to Red Sea’s trade and consumer customers; predominantly through Zendesk and direct trade/consumer telephone contact.
- Seeking opportunities to promote Red Sea’s products and knowledge base through social media participation.
- Experienced reef-keeper.
- Capable of diagnosing technical product-related issues, both hardware and chemical-related.
- Proficient in assembly of aquarium systems, cabinets, lighting systems etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Red Sea’s products - a major advantage.
- Experience with IoT consumer devices - an advantage.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Excellent standard of written and verbal English and ability to communicate clearly with hobbyists and retailers.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Positive attitude and able to work harmoniously within a professional team.
- Reliable and diligent, with excellent prior work attendance record.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
