Gotta keep the elderly healthy :) My grandparents live 10mins away from me and we would always go over and sleep over because we could eat junk food and watch TV, but now they dont want us coming over lol. Good luck with the torch dude

There's no way this is worthy of a refund, man. It's just a harmless sponge. Careful not to damage the torch if you do scrape it off.
It was my first time spending this much on a coral so i was extremely nervous. it’s going well and the customer service is beyond incredible. i expect no further issues

Yeah, the sponge is harmless. They are all over most of the euphyllia being imported from Indonesia.

If you don't know what coralline algae is,but spent $250 on a torch, then freaked out about a sponge being on a coral... I think you have bigger issues than the sponge lol. Not to be rude, but that is a sign you need to do a little more research on the hobby, hitchhikers, good and bad organisms and where these corals come from. Just saying.

I would hate to see you make an uneducated guess on something and waste money.

I have been in this hobby for almost 12 years, and I have leanred you cannot freak out when something happens.
