I have a 20 gallon innovative, marine all in one system. I was looking at adding a red mangrove. Do you recommend planning it directly in the sand bed in the tank or would it be best to plan it in the sump in the back of the tank, any advice is greatly appreciate it and also in the Sandbed does it take over the entire Sandbed and would it be an issue and removing it?

A deep sand is recommended, and if left long enough it definitely will root through the sand and maybe be a bit difficult to remove :) good luck!

I like to get some clear acrylic rods, and attach the mangroves to those then stick the rod into the sand and allowing the mangrove to grow down into the sand, you’ll get more of the cool prop rooting look in your system. It also is more gentle on the roots.
