Hi everyone,
I need quick help. 2 days back I bought new RBTA. He was happy when I placed him with the rock it came. Yesterday I removed him from the rock since I had no place for one in my tank. Also made sure his foot isn't damaged. He quickly went to the new rock, attached to it completely and seemed fine. From morning it doesn't look happy. Half foot is attached to rock and half is in sand. Hes open and his tentacles doesn't come up and lifeless. Can someone please help me with this issue.

Ph: between 8.1 to 8.4
Salinity: 1.025
Phosphate: around 0.2, three days back
Nitrate: 10 ppm
Light: Hipargero LED 30W,

What size tank? How old? What are your other parameters? Especially Alkalinity.
I would not feed it for a few days. It really should not need feeding with enough light and with your nitrates at 10. Nitrates are a food source for them so don’t let anyone tell you they are to high. I recommend nitrates of between 10 & 20 unless your keeping delicate SPS too.

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for all your kind support. I did exactly same like you all mentioned. Now he's super fine and extending a lot .Also after three weeks of handwork I finally paired up my Golden nuggets maroon clown fish and they both are hosting my RBTA and feeding daily. They look Awesome. I just keep staring at them. Will share some recent pics of the anemone soon.
My tank is 14 months old, and recently I'm facing diatom issue. I went with dr tims dinoflagellates treatment. did 3 days black out and all. After that the sand bed looked fresh and as new. But I feel its coming back again now. It looks like green hair algae in the sand bed. Now I'm fighting for that. And also after that treatment my nitrate went to zero, struggling to bring it up now as it was mentioned by @laverda, the RBTA might be needing some nitrate to feed. Any suggestions will help me a lot.

Thanks again, you guys are very helpful

Do not move it around- will stress it out. they are photosynthetic and respond to light and water flow.
