but who/whatever precipitated this flight over the rocks traumatized Audrey 3 and turned her into a shadow of former glory. Pretty cool that it can become so small in defense mode to size about 1.5x a tennis ball from taking up 11 too 12 inches.

It is. My biggest one is about 17” and can go as little as a tennis ball. Crazy how much water they take in and how much they stretch when fully inflated.

Tanks on automatic. I still hav3 an aversion for glass cleaning choosing to more accurately mimic the inhabitants natural environment for them in a near 360 degrees.
po4 elevated slightly from its .04 norm for a bit to .08 but also a drop in nitrates to 25 so all good in the hood.
dkh consumptions been tracked and nailed down to start auto dosing just need to get it calibrated and been chasing other hobby stuff lately so back burner till weekend. Will be cool setting up the dos working with trident tho.

Hello my friends The penultimate fish shipment arrived today! From nyaquatics got a Tammarin wrasse and a Kole tang. Both arrived in great shape and within a hour were swimming about and getting used to their new home. They Kole has fallen in with the CBB and Foxface while the wrasse is just doing his own thing. Only one pic of wrasse to share the Kole is moving to fast and still shy of anyone at the glass.
Hope to get more tonight.

@Clawfish I float bag for temp 15 min then open bags still floating and do a slow swap/add of aquarium water about 1/4 cup a shot every ten min or so for 30 to 40 mins.

I think this is a real easy trap to fall into with out tanks. Constantly tinkering with things, tweaking this and that hoping to fix certain things. And we forget, it can take weeks even months for something we change to take effect. So we keep tweaking and go down this endless trail of trying to adjust stuff and never finding the results we want. I don't think that applies to just this hobby either.

Things are looking great and keep up with the letting nature do it's thing

I don’t believe in just a pretty picture being shared. I don’t think I was heroic more pig headed and stubborn. My heroes were friends made here who encouraged and shared knowledge that got me past that hard time.
Hope someone stumbles onto this thread and avoids a mistake made by showing the good, the bad, and the ugly.
