Minimal shadowing. I run this single fixture 35% - 40% and get 125-150 par on the sandbed and 250-300 at the top of my rock work, which is mid height in most spots. These things can be par monsters if you turn them up, then you can mount higher and get more coverage

Tank looks nice man! Maybe one day I’ll give them a try. For now I’m rocking with the radions. I’ve heard great things about the reef breeders tho!!

One day I’ll get radions. Maybe I need to reboot my 15g Waterbox. I have been so unhappy with the prime.

Is a xr15 overkill for a 15g peninsula ?

I wouldn’t say overkill you’ll most likely have to run it very low unless you have straight sps in it.
