Ok. I saw some advertised the other day as micromussa lords which confused me even more
If they stated it as a lord that is probably what it is. Usually if it was a micromussa that should just be it. No lord, ect.

If they stated it as a lord that is probably what it is. Usually if it was a micromussa that should just be it. No lord, ect.
15 years ago they just gave you a coral and said good luck!

I’ve never owned a clam, but I really want one for some reason.

I have a bare bottom tank. If I get a clam, is it okay to put a small bit of glue on their shell and stick them to a rock? Or is there a better way of going about getting them situated in a spot?

No, never glue a clam. They have a little sticky foot sort of similar to anemones.
You can perch it somewhere and it should attach if it feels safe in that spot.

lol that was the biggest mistake we made! I made my own wet dry sump out of a 3 drawer bathroom thing from walmart sitting in a plastic tote.
I love diy stuff like this. Always rad seeing/hearing about peoples diy projects.
